I realized a few days ago that I was arriving in London on the 3rd of July and didn't have a place to stay. We can't check into our place in Oxford until the 4th. So I booked a hostel room in London, and a train ticket to Oxford. The very next day, I discovered that there's a carnival in Oxford on July 3rd. It's called the Cowley Road Carnival, and while they don't yet have the schedule up, it looks pretty cool!

So I canceled my night in London and booked a night in Oxford. With any luck, I'll be at the carnival this year and I'll have some awesome photos for you. I may even take video!
