The Centre Pompidou is a strange building in Paris. The building is unique in that everything which is usually in the walls is outside: the pipes, the heating and air-conditioning, even the escalators. This way, the inside walls can be easily moved to accommodate the modern art inside. I don't much care for the actual art, but I really enjoyed riding the escalator and the views from the top floor.
I had wanted to go when my dad was visiting, but there was a strike (typical of Paris) and the museum was closed, so we only saw the outside, which is pretty cool in itself. I didn't go back until my last day in Paris, so you can see the snow that was in my earlier pictures.
