Pre-Flight Jitters

When Bilbo Baggins set off on his epic adventure, he ran out of the house in a hurry, forgetting even handkerchiefs. I have the opposite problem. I have been packing and repacking my suitcase since November, and I have so many clothes I am afraid I will have to throw some away at the airport. I have checked in for my flight, printed my boarding passes and train tickets, and I am starting to get scared.
I said goodbye to Andrew today, and my dad will drive me to the airport tomorrow. I guess I've just had too many bad experiences with planes lately, but I don't really expect everything to go smoothly. I have to get to the airport on time, take a flight to Chicago, make my connection, take a flight to CDG Airport, find my luggage, take the RER to Paris, spend the day in Paris (take the metro), get to the Eurostar on time, take the Eurostar to London, spend the night in London, take the Tube to Paddington, take the train to Oxford, and catch a cab to my new house. So I'm going to be a little bit frazzled from now until about three days from now when I actually arrive in Oxford, at my new house, with my luggage.
I do have some good news for the blog: Dad is loaning me a new camera which has a zoom that should let me see Russia, so I should be able to take some really good pictures this time.
