This was my first time flying out of Toledo Express Airport, and I loved it! There was absolutely no one in line, not at the baggage counter, nor the security line! I really like flying, I just hate waiting in line and walking around airports with my backpack (which is always ridiculously heavy). Without the lines, flying is quite nice. Getting on a plane in Toledo is comparable to getting on a train in Europe. However, I did have to go through a full-body scanner, which I’m opposed to, but I didn’t really feel like making a fuss, so I just did it. I didn’t expect a smaller airport to have those scanners. Even a year or two ago, they were only in the biggest airports. I guess they’re everywhere now.
I took some pictures of Toledo Express Airport. It has 7 gates and about 8 arrivals and 8 departures per day of passenger flights. I understand from Wikipedia that most of the traffic at this airport is air cargo, not passengers.
The final two photos demonstrate my new (borrowed) camera and its 21x zoom. I’m really looking forward to taking more pictures with it!
