The Tower of London and Billy Elliot

Josephine and I were staying in a hostel right by St. Pancras station, which is right next to King's Cross Station. Saturday morning we needed to find a post office to buy stamps, and the nearest post office was near King's Cross Station. So we went into the station, but it was under construction and we couldn't find the post office. We had to ask for directions, and then I asked the question every King's Cross employee dreads, "Where is platform 9 3/4?"

As it turns out, Platform 9 3/4 should be pretty easy to find, since there's a line of people patiently waiting to take their photo in front of it. I'd like to point out that Josephine and I were the youngest people in the line, except for two kids who were too young to read, and therefore don't count.

Then we went to the Tower of London, which was pretty cool, although my feet were very tired by that point.

Finally, as a wonderful end to a splendid week, we got front row seats to see Billy Elliot. It was awesome! I love sitting in the front row, especially when the child actors can actually act as well as sing and dance. The parts where Billy talks to his (dead) mother brought me to tears, and I loved the energy of the singing and dancing. All in all, it was a wonderful spring break!
