For Rachel’s final day in London, we took a very traditional route and saw the changing of the guard and the Tower of London. The changing of the guard was insanely crowded! I’ve been in crowds before, but this crowd was especially bad. The only people who could see something were the really, really tall people, the people who had been there for hours, and the children sitting on their fathers’ shoulders.
At the Tower of London we decided to take a guided tour, which turned out to be really fun. The tour guide was friendly and the tower of London has such an interesting history that the stories never got boring. In summary: a lot of people died there.
