On Thursday we took the train to London to see the Royal Ballet perform in Covent Garden. Since we arrived in London quite early, we took a short trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum, where the two of us spent about an hour and a half staring at the jewelry collection. Unfortunately, no photos were allowed in that room, probably in an attempt to stop international jewel thieves.
When we got to Covent Garden, we discovered this display of Easter Eggs! They'd been on display all over the city, but they were moved to Covent Garden for the week leading up to Easter.
We got dinner and saw the Royal Ballet. They were performing modern ballet, which isn't really my preference, but it was really good! Plus, we had seats that would have been way out of my price range for anything traditional, but were discounted because people aren't adventurous enough to pay lots for modern ballet.
