The weather was pretty nice the whole time I was in Paris, but the day before I had to leave, it finally snowed. It was a beautiful day, barely below freezing, and the light dusting of snow made Paris especially magical. It made it very hard to leave.

By the time I got back to the U.S., that light dusting had turned into a blizzard. A lot of my friends didn't get out of Paris for days, and I was stuck in Dulles for two days, and then I finally got re-booked out of BWI. Luckily, I had flown into BWI and out of Dulles on my way to France, so I already knew the bus routes. Once the D.C. buses and metro started working again, I was able to make my way to BWI and I finally made it home.
