Thursday night at midnight I saw the last Harry Potter movie! There's not too much I can say about the film itself. If you care about the film, you're going to see it and form your own opinions. If you don't care about the film, what's wrong with you? How did you miss out on this cultural phenomenon?
Anyway, the important thing I learned from this movie is that the theatre in Oxford has reserved couch seats! They are super comfy and huge, and only a couple of pounds more than the regular seats. More importantly, we were in the back of the line and not worried about getting to sit together, an important consideration for the midnight showing of a film as popular as Harry Potter.

Sorry honey, but if missing Harry Potter means there is something wrong with me, then I never want to be right.
ReplyDeleteAlso Harry Potter plots for all books:
ReplyDelete1. Harry goes back to school
2. Harry learns about something forbidden or mythical
3. Bad things happen, blames obvious villain
4. Obvious villain is actually good guy
5. Voldemort is behind it, use said forbidden or mythical mcguffin to solve the problem.
6. Summer
They're not great literature. They're FUN to read! Don't you understand FUN? Who cares what the plot is?
ReplyDeleteI knew you wouldn't be able to resist commenting on this post. Oh well, I love you even though you're a Harry Potter hater.
Well, I know an intentional taunt when it is directed at me.
